Oregano leaf extract

Oregano is the common name for Origanum vulgare. Already in ancient Greece, aromatic oregano oil was used for massage and after bathing. Oregano was also valued for its fragrance in the Middle Ages, when it was used to scent washing water. The herb contains up to 3% essential oil (rich in phenols such as carvacrol and thymol as well as p-cymene), sesquiterpenes, catechin, phenolic acids, and valuable antioxidant flavonoids (apigenin, luteolin, quercetin, kaempferol, eriodictyol, naringenin).

Oregano:

  • supports upper respiratory tract function and the immune system.
  • supports liver function.
  • supports cardiovascular system function and helps maintain optimal blood pressure.
  • supports digestive processes.

Aloe vera juice with pulp

The preparation uses pulp from filleted leaves of Aloe vera sourced from Mexico, as well as juice from the leaves of this species. Only the pulp and juice are used because the leaf skin contains substances belonging to the so-called anthraquinones – aloin and emodin – which in nature protect the plant against insects and other animals. However, these compounds may have unfavorable effects at high concentrations, therefore they are best removed together with the leaf skin.
Aloe leaves contain approximately 270 different components (including minerals, vitamins, amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids, and sugars), some of which exhibit high biological activity.

Aloe:

  • contributes to normal glucose metabolism.
  • helps maintain healthy skin.
  • contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system.
  • supports the maintenance of energy

Chlorella

Chlorella is a unicellular freshwater microalga, extremely rich in active compounds. It contains a large amount of chlorophyll with properties similar to chlorophyllin, protein (up to 60% of content), including all essential amino acids, which are valuable building blocks for proteins. In addition, it contains carotenoids (lutein, zeaxanthin, astaxanthin), as well as vitamins (B-group vitamins and vitamin K) and minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, and iodine.

Chlorella supports intestinal function and the removal of toxins and heavy metals from the body, contributes to vitality, and promotes the development of beneficial intestinal microflora. (ID 3314)

Chlorella also supports liver function.

Barley juice extract

Barley provides the body with numerous valuable components.  These include soluble fibre (mainly beta-glucans) and insoluble fibre (mainly cellulose). In addition, barley provides many vitamins, mainly B vitamins, vitamin E, C and folic acid, as well as minerals such as magnesium, zinc, copper, iron and selenium. Moreover, it is a source of amino acids and polyphenols (mainly flavonoids).

Barley contributes to the proper functioning of liver and gallbladder.

Collagen from saltwater fish skin

Collagen is the main protein forming connective tissue. It is the primary building block of the skin, cartilage, and bones. Starting around the age of 25-30, collagen production in the body decreases, and this process intensifies with age; from approximately the age of 60, the body no longer produces endogenous collagen1. Increased physical activity and extreme sports, hormonal changes, excessive sun exposure, and adverse weather conditions may accelerate the breakdown of collagen fibers, which affects the weakening of the musculoskeletal system, while the skin loses firmness and the first wrinkles begin to appear.

In the preparation, collagen is present in the form of a low-molecular-weight hydrolysate. It is a source of amino acids, including essential ones, and their di- and tripeptides, which are well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract.

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid belongs to glycosaminoglycans that form articular cartilage. It is a natural biopolymer with the same structure in humans, other vertebrates, and even bacteria. In all these organisms, it most often occurs in the form of a sodium salt: sodium hyaluronate. It is one of the most hygroscopic molecules naturally occurring on Earth. It has the ability to bind water in an amount up to 1000 times its own weight. It has been found that the highest amount of hyaluronic acid in the human body (about 50%) is present in the skin.

Willow bark extract

The valuable properties of this raw material have been known since ancient times. The main active compound is the phenolic glycoside salicin, which as a result of enzymatic hydrolysis in the intestine is converted into well-absorbed saligenin. In addition to salicylic acid derivatives, willow bark contains other glycosides, cinnamic acid derivatives, ellagic acid, flavonoids, and tannins from the catechin group.
Willow contributes to maintaining healthy sleep and optimal relaxation. It helps maintain mental and physical well-being.

Centella asiatica extract

Centella asiatica (also known as tiger grass or Gotu kola) contains triterpene saponins, mainly madecassoside and asiaticoside; triterpene acids, primarily asiatic acid and madecassic acid, as well as flavonoids, phenolic acids, phytosterols, sugars, amino acids, vitamins, and essential oil.

Centella asiatica supports the stimulation of fibroblast development. It also promotes wound healing.

Acai berry extract

Acai is a Brazilian “superfruit”. It originates from the Amazon region, where it is a common food product, but in recent years has also gained popularity worldwide. It is valued for its numerous beneficial properties. Acai berries are an exceptionally rich source of antioxidants, mainly anthocyanins and flavonoids. They are also characterized by a comprehensive content of vitamins and minerals.

Goji berry extract

Goji also called the Chinese wolfberry, is a shrub with health-promoting properties, known for thousands of years. Goji fruit (berries) have a high nutritional value. They contain, among others: B group vitamins (B1, B2, B6), vitamins C and E, and minerals: iron, zinc, calcium, copper, selenium, and phosphorus, carotenoids, polyphenols, and an essential oil; polysaccharides represent about 5 to 8% of the dry weight of the dried fruit. Furthermore, berries contain amino acids and simple sugars - together with polysaccharides they form the so-called   polysaccharide fraction.

Artichoke leaf extract

Among the biologically active compounds of artichoke, four main groups can be distinguished: phenolic acids, flavonoids, bitter sesquiterpene lactones, and tannins. In addition, the raw material is a source of protein, carbohydrates (including dietary fiber and inulin), vitamins (C, B1, B2, B6, A, E), and mineral compounds (potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron). Artichoke is also one of the richest dietary sources of polyphenols.

Artichoke:

  • contributes to maintaining normal blood lipid levels.
  • supports digestion, contributes to proper gastrointestinal function, and helps maintain intestinal comfort.

White mulberry leaf extract

Mulberry leaves are a valuable source of nutrients. They contain protein, dietary fiber, vitamins (C, beta-carotene), micro- and macroelements (iron, zinc, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium), as well as polyphenols (mainly flavonoids and anthocyanins).

White mulberry may contribute to maintaining carbohydrate metabolism balance in the body.

Vilcacora stem extract

Vilcacora, or uncaria tomentosa, also known as cat's claw, is a vine native to tropical jungles of Central and South America.  This raw material contains, among others, tannins, phenolic acids, flavonoids, and saponins.

Vilcacora supports the proper functioning of the immune system.

Schisandra chinensis berry fruit extract

(standardized to 10% schisandrin content). Schisandra chinensis naturally occurs in mountain forests and river valleys mainly in Russia, Korea, Japan, and China. In Chinese, the name of this plant means “the fruit of five flavors”, as the skin and pulp have a sweet and sour taste, while the seeds are bitter, salty, and astringent. In Asia, schisandra is grown not only for ornamental purposes, but primarily for its fruit, which are rich in many valuable nutrients. The most important group of compounds present in schisandra fruits are polyphenols – lignans (schisandrols and schisandrins). In addition, the fruits are rich in organic acids (including citric and malic acids), vitamins (including vitamin C and E) and minerals (including zinc, manganese, copper, iron). Schisandra also contains tannins, sugars, and essential oil, in which citral predominates, giving it a lemon-like aroma.

Schisandra chinensis fruit extract exhibits adaptogenic properties.

Bacopa Monnieri/Brahmi leaf extract

Among the active compounds, triterpenoids belonging to the group of steroidal saponins can be distinguished: bacosides, bacopasides, and bacosaponins, as well as antioxidant polyphenols and health-promoting phytosterols (stigmasterol and beta-sitosterol).

Bacopa monnieri may contribute to supporting concentration and memory. It helps maintain optimal cognitive functions.
