Here’s how do the active ingredients in DUOFIT 10 support your body
Ingredients:
Proprietary Formula BioSlimer® BioSlimer® – a proprietary formula derived from citrus fruits: grapefruit, sweet orange and blood orange, and guarana extract. Citrus fruits are a valuable source of nutrients, including vitamin C and other antioxidants, as well as fibre. Guarana, similarly as green coffee, is a source of methylxanthines, including caffeine. Guarana seeds support weight management and lipid metabolism. |
||
Green coffee extract standardised for 50% content of chlorogenic acid (including 5% of caffeine) Green coffee differs significantly from roasted coffee in its effects on the human body. Green coffee is raw seeds of red coffee cherries, which are not roasted in the process of coffee preparation. The main active ingredients in this material are polyphenols, and chlorogenic acid in particular.

Young barley grass extract Barley is a source of soluble and insoluble dietary fibre: both fibre fractions have a beneficial effect on the human body. Additionally, barley is a rich source of vitamins (group B vitamins, vitamins E and C, folic acid), minerals (magnesium, zinc, copper, iron, selenium), amino acids and polyphenols (mostly flavonoids). Barley contributes to the proper functioning of the liver and gallbladder. |

Spirulina Spirulina is the name given to green-blue algae that grow in the warm waters of Central and South America as well as Africa. It is believed to be one of the oldest life forms. These algae are small in size (ca. 500 µm) and spiral-shaped. Hence their name. Spirulina is classified as so-called superfoods: a food product with unique nutritional values. It is a source of many nutrients, including a significant amount of nutritious protein (about 60% of the composition of algae), and vitamins: A, C, D, E, K, group B vitamins (including B1, B2, B3, B12) and minerals such as selenium, zinc, copper, iron or magnesium. In addition, spirulina provides the body with valuable ingredients such as: gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and linoleic acid from the group of omega-6 essential fatty acids, folic acid, phycocyanin (which gives spirulina its characteristic bluish color) and bioflavonoids. Spirulina supports weight management. |

Chicory The main group of compounds in the chicory root are polysaccharides, with inulin predominating. Inulin is not hydrolysed to monosaccharides in the gastrointestinal tract and therefore does not raise blood glucose levels; it has a low glycaemic index. It also does not interfere with the release of insulin, so it can be used by people with diabetes. Chicory supports weight management. Chicory supports liver functions. Chicory supports digestive processes and contributes to stimulating stomach and intestines activity. |

Dietary fibre Dietary fibre is a group of substances that plays an important role in the functioning of the human digestive system, although it is not digested in the digestive tract and is not absorbed into the bloodstream. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the recommended daily intake of dietary fibre for adults should be 20-40 g. The Food and Nutrition Institute provides standards for Poland at a level of 30-35 g per day for adults. Another indicator of daily intake is the recommendation of 14 g of fibre/1000 kcal in the diet/day. Meanwhile, the average daily fibre consumption in Poland in 2016 was only 15.4 g per person. |

Proprietary NUTRIOSE® formula* Unlike cereal fibres, NUTRIOSE®* corn fibre is non-allergenic. Due to its microgranulated form, it is very stable and highly soluble and thus can also be added to hot dishes, such as soups. Seventy-five percent of corn fibre undergoes slow fermentation in the large intestine (which is gentle on the intestines). Moreover, it is not digested by the bacteria present in the mouth and does not promote caries. The formula has a low glycaemic index and low calories (2 kcal/g). * NUTRIOSE® is a registered trademark of Roquette Frères. |

Proprietary SUNFIBER formula®** Sunfiber® is an organic, partially hydrolysed gum from Indian guar beans based on galactomannans. However, it is not identical to the commonly used guar gum. Unlike the 'classic' guar gum, it has a lower molecular weight (20-50 kDa vs. 300-8,000 kDa for non-hydrolysed gum) and thus a much lower viscosity (2,000 times lower) making it easier to prepare an easy-to-eat formula which is safe even when consumed in large servings. In addition, unlike guar gum, it is obtained by mild enzymatic hydrolysis at low temperature (37°C) exclusively from seed endosperm. **SUNFIBER® is a registered trademark of Taiyo Kagaku Co., Ltd. |

Goji berry extract Goji also called the Chinese wolfberry, is a shrub with health-promoting properties, known for thousands of years. Goji fruit (berries) have a high nutritional value. They contain, among others: B group vitamins (B1, B2, B6), vitamins C and E, and minerals: iron, zinc, calcium, copper, selenium, and phosphorus, carotenoids, polyphenols, and an essential oil; polysaccharides represent about 5 to 8% of the dry weight of the dried fruit. Furthermore, berries contain amino acids and simple sugars - together with polysaccharides they form the so-called polysaccharide fraction.

Schisandra chinensis berry fruit extract (standardized to 10% schisandrin content). Schisandra chinensis naturally occurs in mountain forests and river valleys mainly in Russia, Korea, Japan, and China. In Chinese, the name of this plant means “the fruit of five flavors”, as the skin and pulp have a sweet and sour taste, while the seeds are bitter, salty, and astringent. In Asia, schisandra is grown not only for ornamental purposes, but primarily for its fruit, which are rich in many valuable nutrients. The most important group of compounds present in schisandra fruits are polyphenols – lignans (schisandrols and schisandrins). In addition, the fruits are rich in organic acids (including citric and malic acids), vitamins (including vitamin C and E) and minerals (including zinc, manganese, copper, iron). Schisandra also contains tannins, sugars, and essential oil, in which citral predominates, giving it a lemon-like aroma. Schisandra chinensis fruit extract exhibits adaptogenic properties. |
||
Bacopa Monnieri/Brahmi leaf extract Among the active compounds, triterpenoids belonging to the group of steroidal saponins can be distinguished: bacosides, bacopasides, and bacosaponins, as well as antioxidant polyphenols and health-promoting phytosterols (stigmasterol and beta-sitosterol). Bacopa monnieri may contribute to supporting concentration and memory. It helps maintain optimal cognitive functions. |
