In the case of a temporary (ad hoc) use of antibiotics, for example, the supplementation should last for the entire period of the antibiotic therapy and should be continued for the period of 7-10 days after its completion; in the case of trips to tropical countries, ProBactilardii® food supplement should be used 5 days before the trip, during the whole trip and for 5 days after the trip.

If used to support the immune system, alimentary tract or nervous system, the recommended period of use is minimum a month, preferably 3 months. 

Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 capsule from each container per day to be washed down with cool water. The combined use involves 2 capsules taken simultaneously – the synbiotic in the first capsule and the postbiotic in the second capsule. If necessary, the use of each capsule may be increased to twice a day.

The capsules may be taken together or separately.

As a rule, one capsule of the Synbiotic and one capsule of the Postbiotic per day is enough. In the case of a long antibiotic therapy or a need to provide extra support to the intestines, for instance in the case of severe diarrhoea, it may be necessary to use two capsules (combined) twice a day.

The Synbiotic capsules can be given to children over 7 years of age. They may be given to children over 3 years of age upon consultation with a physician. The capsules with the synbiotic are not recommended for children under 3 years of age.

The Postbiotic capsules can be given to children over 12 years of age. Children from 7 to 12 years of age: the use is allowed after prior consultation with a doctor. The capsules with the postbiotic are not recommended for children under 7 years of age.

In case of problems with swallowing a capsule, its content may be poured into a spoon and administered directly to the child's mouth or, additionally, the substance in the spoon may be dissolved in a small amount of water at room temperature and consumed directly afterwards.

Preferably, the capsules should be washed down with water which is cool or at room temperature.

The Synbiotic capsules can be used upon prior consultation with a doctor. 

The Postbiotic capsules are not recommended to pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers.

ProBactilardii® should not be used in the case of oversensitivity to any of the product's ingredients. The Postbiotic capsules should not be given to children under 7 years of age; the Synbiotic capsules should not be given to children under 3 years of age and should not be used by people suffering from severe pancreas inflammation and disorders of the immune system. The use of the capsules should be consulted with a doctor in the case of patients who undergo an immunosuppressive therapy, oncological treatment, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Yes. In the case of trips to tropical countries or to countries with a low level of hygiene standards (developing countries), it is recommended to use ProBactilardii® 5 days before the trip, during the entire trip and for 5 days after the trip.

No. The product does not require storage in a fridge. The stability and viability of microbes in BACTILARDII® formula over the storage period of 24 months at a temperature of 20-25 ⁰C have been tested and laboratory confirmed. Therefore, the optimal viability and the specified number of live microbes are guaranteed when the product is stored at room temperature until the end of its expiry date.  Additionally, the patented Activ-Vial™ packaging with Activ-Polymer™ lining protects the capsules in the container against moisture from the air and against light.

There is no need to do so, as long as it is stored away from the sources of heat (radiator) and kept at room temperature (20-25⁰ C).

ProBactilardii® Food Supplement should be used within 30 days as of the opening of the packaging.

A synbiotic is a mixture of probiotics and prebiotics. When we use a synbiotic we supplement our natural microflora with beneficial microbes and, at the same time, provide them with a nutrient medium in form of a prebiotic, e.g. acasia fibre. Synbiotics are recognised as exceptionally effective, e.g. in maintaning the good condition of intestinal microflora.

Postbiotics are products of metabolism produced and secreted by the beneficial intestinal microflora which feeds on fibre.

Intestinal dysbiosis is microbiological imbalance consisting in changes in the amount and functioning of intestinal microflora. Malfunctioning microflora may lead to development of many ailments related to, but not limited to, the functioning of the digestive system, immune system or central nervous system.  Supplementation with probiotics restores the balance of intestinal microflora.

DuoLife's Clinical Formula ProBactilardii® is a food supplement consisting of 2 complementary capsules. These annotations denote a specific, selected and branded bacteria or yeast strain used in a probiotic. The effectiveness of a probiotic is closely linked to the high quality of its strains. Thanks to these annotations it is possible to check how well the particular strain has been tested and to find the relevant clinical tests. In total, there are 9 billion LIVE, freeze-dried and selected bacteria and yeast cultures GUARANTEED in the product AT THE END OF ITS SHELF LIFE. 

It is very important to provide our organism with live bacteria and yeast strains, as only such strains may be subject to adhesion, i.e. clinging, to intestinal mucus. Adhesion to the intestinal wall is a prerequisite for the probiotic effects of bacteria and yeasts. 

The number of bacteria at the moment of probiotic production is always high; however, over time it decreases substantially, for example, due to improper protection of the strains, which - in turn - leads to their death. Therefore, only those probiotic products whose producers reveal the information about and guarantee the number of bacteria at the end of the product's shelf life provide reliable and trustworthy information about the actual number of microbes with invaluable probiotic effects contained in the given product. ALWAYS check if the producer declares the number of live micro-organisms at the end of the product's shelf life or only at the time of production. These numbers are not equivalent!

The bacteria strains for ProBactilardii® food supplement are supplied by a global expert in probiotics - the Canadian company Lallemand. BACTILARDII® formula has been developed for the exclusive use of DuoLife company.

Intestinal microflora means micro-organisms - predominantly bacteria, but also fungi and viruses - which live in the human alimentary tract and affect the functioning of the whole organism; they are also an important element in the prophylaxis of many diseases. Intestinal microflora of a healthy human is made up of almost 100 trillion beneficial microbes. 

The packaging contains two pillboxes - a Synbiotic and a Postbiotic.  One pillbox has Synbiotic capsules which contain a prebiotic (in form of acacia fibre) and proprietary BACTILARDII® probiotic formula. Another pillbox has Postbiotic capsules with a formula based on butyric acid.

The butyric acid contained in ProBactilardii® food supplement belongs to postbiotics. It favours the optimal condition of intestines, improves their peristalsis and barrier functions, and provides nutrients to epithelial cells in the intestines.

Yes, by all means it can be used. It is recommended to take the supplement (a Synbiotic capsule and a Postbiotic capsule) during an antibiotic therapy and to continue the supplementation for the period of 7-10 days after the end of the antibiotic therapy. Preferably, ProBactilardii® should be taken an hour after an antibiotic or between antibiotic doses.
