ProBactilardii® is a comprehensive food supplement consisting of 2 complementary capsules. The Synbiotic capsule contains a prebiotic (in the form of acacia fibre) and the proprietary BACTILARDII® probiotic formula based on 4 bacterial strains and 1 yeast strain, whose viability is guaranteed at the end of the product’s shelf life.

Optimal protection of strains
Proprietary innovative formula protects the strains against adverse conditions, as well as stomach acid and bile with proprietary BIO-SUPPORT™ technology. The stability of the strains within the gastrointestinal tract has been proven in preclinical in vitro tests and in clinical studies. The microgranules are further protected by delayed-release HPMC capsules, all encapsulated in patented, drug-certified ACTIV-VIAL™ direct packaging with Activ-Polymer™ lining that minimises the ingress of moisture, light and oxygen to the capsules in the container, protecting bacterial and yeast strains and other ingredients during product storage.

Microorganism viability guaranteed at the end of the product’s shelf life
The total amount of microorganisms is 9 billion CFU = 9 x 109 CFU (CFU = colony-forming unit) of LIVE freeze-dried bacteria and yeast cultures GUARANTEED in the formula AT THE END OF THE PRODUCT'S SHELF LIFE. The concentrated dose ensures convenient use, usually 1 time per day, with both capsules combined.
Laboratory-confirmed viability of bacterial and yeast cultures is guaranteed in the formula at the end of the product's shelf life. Stability and viability of microorganisms was tested and laboratory-confirmed in reputed laboratories in the United States and Canada.
Results of the conducted research show that the number of live bacteria cultures in ProBactilardii® is compliant with the amount stated on the product label during the entire storage period, up until the end of the expiry date, while stored at room temperature (with no necessity to refrigerate the product).
Stability tests were also conducted in real time covering 24 months: from the production date until the expiry date in conditions resembling storage conditions indicated on the product label.
The stability test was performed at the Lallemand Health Solutions laboratory in Canada, in line with the ICH Q1A (R2) international guidelines for pharmaceutical products.ICH guidelines are the main applicable criteria for stability testing of pharmaceutical products. They were developed by the International Conference on Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Human Use , ICH.

Probiotic strains must retain their viability and activity in the gastrointestinal tract. High resistance to digestive enzymes, gastric acid and bile guarantees their survival and adhesion capability, that is adherence to the intestinal epithelium. Only live microorganism strains present health-oriented probiotic effect.
Adhesion to the intestinal epithelial cells plays a key role in the mechanism of action of probiotics, allowing them to colonise the intestine and create a natural protective barrier. Thanks to that the probiotics effectively compete with pathogens for adherence sites, helping maintain the balance of intestinal microbiota.

POSTBIOTICS are all biologically active compounds produced by beneficial gut bacteria, for example during fermentation processes. They support the functioning of the human body. Organic acids, such as butyric acids found in the postbiotic ProBactilardii® capsule, can be considered postbiotics. Supplementing butyric acid may foster the action of naturally biosynthetised butyric acid in the large intestine. |

Instructions for use:
Instructions for use: Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 capsule from each container per day taken with cool water. The combined use involves 2 capsules taken simultaneously – the synbiotic in the first capsule and the postbiotic in the second capsule. If necessary, the use of each capsule may be increased to 2 times a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Children from 7 to 12 years of age: the use of the product (both capsules) is permitted after prior consultation with a physician. Children from 3 to 7 years of age and pregnant and breastfeeding women: the use of synbiotic capsules should be consulted with a physician. The use of postbiotic capsules is not recommended. The product is not intended for children under 3 years of age. The capsules are intended only for children who can swallow a capsule. In children who cannot swallow the capsule, the contents of the capsule can be poured out and given on a teaspoon, or additionally dissolved in a small amount of water and taken immediately after preparation. For antibiotic therapy, it is recommended to use the preparation during the period of antibiotic treatment, preferably 1 hour after taking the medicine. It is also recommended to continue to take the supplement for 7-10 days following the end of antibiotic therapy. For travels abroad, especially to exotic countries and tropical areas, use the preparation 5 days before departure, for the entire stay, and 5 days after returning from abroad. The product cannot be a substitute for a varied diet. A balanced diet and healthy lifestyle are essential for the proper functioning of the body.
