Black rice and prickly pear flower extract formula

standardised to contain anthocyanins - the combination of black rice and prickly pear flower extract is the subject of a patent1. Black rice is a type of rice that’s been commonly grown and consumed for a long time in Southeast Asian countries. It is rich in nutrients and bioactive compounds such as anthocyanins, which are responsible for its dark colour. Prickly pear flowers contain not only vitamins (A, C, E, B group), but are also a source of calcium, magnesium and fibre. In addition, the flowers also contain valuable alkaloids and flavonoids.

Amla fruit extract 

amla (Indian gooseberry) is a valuable source of vitamin C. In DUOLIFE Kertain Hair Complex this extract is standardised for 70% vitamin C content.

Vitamin C:

• contributes to normal collagen production for the correct functioning of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin, and teeth;
• helps protect cells against oxidative stress;
• helps to regenerate the reduced form of vitamin E.

Organic pea shoot extract

pea shoots are rich in nutrients. They contain, among others, protein, carbohydrates, vitamins (C, A, E, B group), minerals (potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, copper, and zinc) and fibre.

Solubilised keratin

keratins are a group of fibrillary, water-insoluble proteins produced by keratinocytes in the epidermis. They are the main structural component of hair and nails. Keratin contains a large share of sulphur-containing amino acids (cysteine and cystine), forming so-called disulphide bridges, so it is resistant to mechanical and chemical agents. Keratin is an inedible protein, it is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, therefore, in an oral form, products of its degradation, containing valuable amino acids (solubilised or hydrolysed keratin, contrary to keratin it is soluble in water). The solubilised keratin used in DUOLIFE Kertain Hair Complex was obtained in a patented process of controlled hydrolysis of sheep wool, maintaining its original amino acid profile. Amino acids found in the product are absorbed after oral administration and represent a building component used by the human body to create natural keratin.

Nettle leaf extract

nettle is a valuable source of silica (silicon), but also many other minerals (magnesium, calcium, iron, potassium). Moreover, nettle leaves include such substances as: chlorophyll, xantophyll, carotene, tannins, vitamins (C, K and B2, pantothenic acid), as well as flavonoids (kaempferol, quercetin, rutin, isorhamnetin).

Extract from grape seeds

standardised for 95% polyphenol content – apart from sugars, proteins and lipids, grape seeds contain also 5–8% of polyphenols. Polyphenols found in the seeds include catechins, proanthocyanidins, resveratrol and phenolic acids.

Grape seeds support venous circulation. They help to protect against free radicals.

Common horsetail extract

horsetail plant contains numerous valuable active substances, including flavonoids (including derivatives of luteolin, apigenin, quercetin and kaempferol), phenolic acids, minerals, including silicic acid (ca. 66%), soluble silicon compounds, potassium, magnesium and aluminium salts.

• Silica found in common horsetail helps maintain optimal health of the hair, nails and skin.

Guava fruit purée

guava fruit is a source of numerous antioxidants, such as vitamin C, carotenoids (beta-carotene and lycopene), and polyphenols (ellagic acid, quercetin, and anthocyanins); furthermore, they contain significant quantities of fibre, tannins, essential oils, vitamins and minerals.

Raspberry fruit extract

raspberries are a source of polyphenols (flavonoids, anthocyanins, phenolic acids), vitamins (A, C, E, and group B), minerals, organic acids, sugars, fibre, and other.

Instructions for use: 25 to 50 ml once a day, before the meal. Shake before each use. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The product cannot be a substitute for a varied diet. A balanced diet and healthy lifestyle are essential for the proper functioning of the body.
