The product contains collagen of fish origin, it is not a vegan product.

Sodium benzoate is a stabilizing substance used in cosmetics to protect the product against microbiological infection. As a stabilizing substance it is used in cosmetic products in low concentrations, so it does not cause irritation or allergies. In addition, sodium benzoate as a stabiliser is authorised by EcoCert for use in natural and organic cosmetics. The sodium benzoate used in DuoLife Beauty Care Collagen body butter is of natural origin.

The collagen used in the formula of DuoLife Collagen butter is of natural origin, native, obtained from fish skins by a patented method of stabilizing the raw material. The patent concerns a way to improve the thermal and microbiological stability of collagen. The advantage of the method according to the invention is the stabilization of the structure of triple helix of collagen above 32 degrees and microbiological stability of the obtained product. The method of raw material preservation does not use glycol, which is consistent with current market patterns. The substances used are natural and environmentally friendly. The raw material obtained in this way is used in the cosmetics industry and currently work is underway on medical devices containing stabilized collagen in their composition. The Polish patent application was published in 2017 and the European extension in 2018.
